And to wrap up this week-long throwback (see Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom), I give you More-lando: all the other fun experiences we had on our Florida trip!
The Showcase of Citrus Monster Truck Farm Tour

I didn’t know about this place until we arrived at our hotel and I was perusing local things to try. I’m so glad we found this farm and said yes because my little’s love of monster trucks is still strong, and to say we got to ride one will probably stay a core memory.

We rode a school bus monster truck! And said hello to (and fed!) the citrus farm’s resident animals.

Then we explored the grounds which had a playground, snacks (had to try the citrus slushie!), and coin-operated rides.

World of Disney
There’s apparently a lot of non-Disney park Disney things to do in Orlando, World of Disney being one of them. There are shops, shows (we stayed for some live music and watched the volcano ‘show’ outside the Rainforest Cafe), and eats. Highlight: The little scored a Mickey hat!

Crayola Experience
Another one of those – didn’t know this was in Orlando activities! The Crayola Experience is a world of color where you could meet a crayon, design a crayon wrapper with a custom name, and make crayon art. There were so many activities and we left with a handful of coloring pages.

Snacks
We did our share of exploring the snack scene on this trip, both for sit down experiences and take out.

Here are some places we tried:
- Blend & Bite for sandwiches, coffees, and smoothies
- Bakery 1908 for dim sum and baked goods – We brought extras back for hotel snacks!
- Sofrito for arepas
- So Fresh for smoothies and rice bowls
- Blue Coast Asian Cuisine for pan-Asian dishes – We had Pad Thai, sushi, and rice bowls, and it hit.

Omni (Conference Hotel)
We had the opportunity to stay at the conference hotel which is always a plus! The Omni at Championsgate features a gift shop, a spa (Hubby tried it out!), allll the pools including a wave pool and a lazy river, private cabanas with treats (we rented one, and it was grand!), an arcade (small, but still fun), a coffee shop (and they gave us drink vouchers – yay!), and easy parking. Safe to say we were living our best hotel lives on this trip.

And now I’m forever getting IG ads for Florida vacations and have a running list of future Orlando to-dos. Have you explored Orlando? Share your must-see list!
