lacing eggs.

For my third and final Easter egg this season, take a peek into Ocean View Brew Works‘ super chill weekend morning crafty vibes with an upcycled egg project!

Owner Vonnie (who also teaches after school sewing classes!) set up a creative station with precut egg shapes (made with drink and snack boxes), yarn, needles, scissors, and markers. She let the kids pick out what patterns they wanted on their eggs, and punched the holes for them. I love that this was a kid craft and the littles got to practice sewing, but my friend and I definitely got into it and finished the projects for our littles while they discovered all the fun brewery toys!

We enjoyed coffees, tots from Kitchenette next door, and all the kid giggles as they played! Highly recommend and totally want to join for all future crafty mornings here.

Here are our final collab pieces. The rainbow yarn makes it extra fancy! Have you tried lacing crafts? What fun shapes should I lace next?
