Ooo it’s Easter egg craft number two for the season! A few Easters ago I invited friends for an easy hike with snacks and egg-tivities! It was a lovely way to spend Easter outdoors. Here’s a lil recap so you can host your own snack- and craft-forward nature day.

I prepared on the go snacks – individual charcuterie packs and parfaits! I found some food dividers and containers from Daiso for the snack packs, and parfait-specific cups that kept the granola separate from the yogurt. In my snack packs I put pretzels, crackers, spring cookies, carrots, strawberries, cucumbers, cheese, and grapes. Since I had both ‘dry’ and ‘wet’ snacks, the food dividers were essentials for not ending up with soggy pretzels at the top of the hill.

I put together an Easter egg hunt for the littles; I mixed and matched my plastic eggs from previous years, and filled the eggs with bunny stickers. I brought egg cartons as an alternative to baskets.

And what would a hangout be without a craft! I gathered paper mache eggs, stickers, and washi tape for an on-the-go egg decorating station. I also filled each with a little treat (peep these enamel pins and patches that I had been hoarding for a special event like this!) for an added surprise.
Stay tuned for egg idea number three of the season!
