This is your sign to gather your friends for a party on 4/30. It’s gonna be May, y’all – head to Costco for bulk ramen, prepare all the fixins, grab a hot water dispenser, and head out to your favorite park.
If you haven’t figured it out already, this party is inspired by Justin Timberlake’s famous ‘ramen hair‘ and I couldn’t be more thrilled to stick to a theme. Here’s what you’ll need to make it all happen —
- Hot water dispenser (and access to an electric outlet if needed)
- Instant ramen
- Utensils – serving utensils, too
- All the toppings!
- *NSYNC decor (optional)
Here are some ideas for toppings:
- Hard/soft boiled eggs
- Tofu
- Fishcake
- Edamame
- Roasted corn
- Shredded carrots
- Mushrooms
- Kimchi
- Seaweed
- Furikake
- Sesame seed oil
- Jalapeños
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
- Fried garlic
Now, I’m a little extra so I also brought a plain (low salt) noodle option particularly for the littles at the party, fabric napkins, dishware, and silverware. Plus, an *NSYNC playlist. You do you.
Friends enjoyed this theme so much that they requested it become an annual event where everyone gets to bring a topping. So this year we’re doing just that.
