Last month, my friends at Sticky Art Lab hosted an art show in a neighborhood backyard. They invited me to join in the festivities. I picked the corner booth by the chicken coop.

Throughout the afternoon, backyard was full of laughter, great conversations, and friends. The event felt like a big reunion, even though I didn’t know half the people. The Sticky crew made the event feel so inviting!

I reunited with Dawn of Dawn Kathryn Studio and met new creative friends – Marlys Mandaville, Susan Ito, and Emma Asano. I also met Misty, Freddy, and five chickens.

As part of the event, Sticky Art Lab kids had art on display, and there was a room filled with art by local artists. The space is usually used as a meditation room / guest house, but today it was transformed into an art gallery.

And I added to my collection of locally made goodies and art!
