thank you bag charms.

Remember when we made thank you paintings for our preschool’s ‘give me money’ fundraiser? We’re back for another year of preschool and for this year’s fundraiser we decided to make thank you bag charms!

I raided my bead and charm stash. The little picked out the hardware and decided on bead/charm combinations. I helped assemble, he named all the pieces, and we packaged them up!

Make your own! We used:

How to:

  • Add beads of choice to the safety pins and close. You can optionally add glue to seal the opening. Add to screw lock key ring.
  • Cut the chain to the length you’d like for your charmed chain. The chain we used was essentially jump rings so we didn’t need wire cutters to ‘cut’ the chain. Use pliers to open up the chain. Add charms to the chain using jump rings; attach a lobster clasp (or jump ring) to add onto the screw lock key ring.
  • Add one or two circle key rings to the screw lock key ring.

Gift in a box for added fanciness. Since I consider each creation an art piece, I had my little name each bag charm, too.

To our surprise, my little was the top fundraiser this year! A big, big thank you to all of our fundraiser supporters!
