The fiancé and I had a Christmas vacation this year…er, last year! I was between jobs and he had some time off from school. The timing worked out nicely and we were able to travel down to SoCal to visit our families together. And while on this vacation, we decided to take pictures with every Christmas tree we came across. I know, we’re silly. Here is a collection of the trees we encountered with some winter stories.

We had a Korean BBQ & tofu soup lunch with the family. While we were waiting for food, this happened.

Here we are at I.D. Cha House, our favorite milk tea spot near my parents’ house.

At my childhood church for Simbang Gabi (“Night Church”) for a lesson on the 12 Days of Christmas. My Mom was the speaker and I represented Day 11.

Selfie with a mini tree.

This was the first tree we saw at Disneyland. It was also the moment we realized taking pictures with all of the trees here would be difficult. Challenge accepted!

Here is our official Christmas greeting for 2014, taken at Disneyland. Fun fact: we were celebrating our 7th Anniversary.

Here we are during our first Noche Buena together at my parents’ house. We had pozole and opened gifts at midnight.
What are some of your favorite things to be photographed next to? Kittens, flowers, fire hydrants…? Share below!
My tree didn’t make the cut? ? :'(
Jazz! Your tree totally made the cut, but my hair in the picture didn’t. haha! Let’s try again next year. 🙂
