My Story
Hi, I’m Erin Mañalac.
I’m an Epidemiologist by training and develop statewide infection prevention initiatives in my day job, and I also have over 12 years of experience teaching and hosting creative workshops and events! Crafterateur is a play on restaurateur and is defined as a person who owns and manages a craft business. Crafterateur started as a journal for me to share my current projects and recent local discoveries, and an outlet to give a behind the scenes look at my handmade celebrations goods business Feed the Fish co. It has since expanded to include an online shop and portfolio, plus services for creatives and handmade business owners.
Since closing Feed the Fish co in 2023, I’ve relaunched as a solo artist and creative consultant. I love creating with my hands and learning new art forms, and I also enjoy meeting and connecting with others via craft. When not creating, you’ll find me at a local market, snacking on some noms, or exploring parks with my toddler. Let’s create and explore together!
